Switzerland is an amazing country to visit. There are a lot of places one can go while visiting here, such as the city of Bern, or Geneva.  However, when to go based on weather can be a challenge. You’ll need to be prepared for a wide range of temperatures. This is due to the mountains which can greatly impact the temperatures in some areas. However, overall, the country has normal European temperatures, with summer highs in the upper 20’s and winter lows just below freezing. Choosing when to visit this beautiful country is mostly based around what you want to do while you are here. Summer is a great time to come and do mainly outdoor things like hiking, camping, canyoning, and so on.  However, prices will soar around the middle of summer and the sites you would like to see will be crowded and places to stay booked solid.  Winter offers many different snow sports, like skiing which is quite popular here. The mountains provide some spectacular skiing opportunities for enthusiasts.  Spring is my favorite time to go. The flowers that begin blooming here make it a spectacular sight to behold, and it seems less crowded than other times of the year.  Make sure to visit lots of places. There are many beautiful and interesting towns and cities to explore. No matter when you choose to go or where you decide to visit, Switzerland is a beautiful country and well worth a visit.
